03, Oct 2016

Clarice Baker, a film student from Bath Spa University has produced a short film covering the BoShow Wedding Festival held in Englishcombe Lane in Bath last weekend.

Bohemian Dreams, the events company behind the BoShow Wedding Festival partnered up with Bath Spa University to offer a film student the opportunity to develop their portfolio and gain valuable work experience for their future career.

The video captured all the highlights from the day, including Smoky Tentacles, the delightful tea room from Heartfelt Vintage and the walk of meadow catwalk which included unique bridal wear from LK Bespoke Bridal and Calm Amongst the Chaos.

Bella Ubhi, Founder of BoShow said: “We are so thrilled with the video produced by Clarice as she managed to fulfil the brief by capturing our incredible suppliers and visitors. We understand the pressures young professional are up against when applying for jobs once they leave university so wanted to work with the university to help a student put the skills into a real work scenario. We hope this will strengthen Clairce’s portfolio for her future.”

Clarice Baker, second year Film and Screen Studies student at BathSpa comments: “The whole day was wonderful and I am so grateful to BoShow for this opportunity. This has been a valuable experience and hope this can open up similar work in the future.”

Bath was the second venue for the BoShow Wedding Festival with the tour continuing in 2017 in Henley on Thames, Milton Keynes and Brighton.
