Goldsmithy in the News

30, Jul 2017

Last month, we worked with some fantastic regional media to tell Milton Keynes’ Goldsmiths and Watchmakers story.

The Goldsmithy Ltd, buried in the heart of Stony Stratford were featured in Celebrate MK & were guests on Stuart Moore’s drive time radio show for Secklow Sounds FM.

Editor of Celebrate MK, Jon Boyle popped into the workshop to interview father & son, Glenn and Paul Chapman about how the Goldsmithy was started – in particular about Glenn being one of the last trained apprentices with Cartier London, where he worked at Wright and Davis to specialise in watch case making. Read what Jon wrote about The Goldsmithy.

The Goldsmithy Ltd also appeared on Stuart Moore’s Drive-time Show on Secklow Sounds FM. Glenn and Paul chatted about the wedding industry and how people can design their own rings; whether engagement rings or wedding bands, and how they can literally add their own mark by filing some of the metal down at the workbench.
