National Apprenticeship Week | Brand Mission

Finishing school can be an overwhelming and daunting time. Deciding what you want to study, where you want to attend University, or even if you want to go! It’s not the only option nor one everyone takes. Today marks the end of National Apprenticeship Week – another option for those of you who aren’t sure what you want to do.

Here at Brand Mission I am a PR & Marketing Apprentice studying at 3aaa to gain a Level 3 in Digital Marketing. I had explored University but only because I felt it was something I had to do, but this is not the case, there are so many different routes! Throughout my two years in sixth form, I realised that I wanted to get out into the ‘real world’ and begin working instead of continuing in full-time education to gain experience in the workplace which is what many employers look for nowadays. This is why an apprenticeship was the right route for me!

I have learnt a lot here during my months at Brand Mission as I’ve been able to put what I’m learning at college into practice. I work on several client’s social media accounts, write and post regular blogs, optimise new content on client websites for SEO; as well as completing end of month reviews and helping decide on strategies for the upcoming months!

National Apprenticeship Week began on Monday and finishes today seeing employers and apprentices come together to celebrate the success of apprenticeships. Milton Keynes welcomes the Apprenticeship show to Arena:MK next Monday and Tuesday and there are many employers who will be exhibiting over the two days including 3aaa which is the apprenticeship provider that I study with myself!

3aaa offer many different apprenticeships types including Digital Marketing, IT, Business Administration and Accountancy. Throughout every step of the way they are there to help you, from writing your CV, preparing for interviews and then training you in your local academy once you find the right role for you! So take your time and think about what you want to do with your future, there’s no rush to get it right!
