From its character light-filled studios, nestled in the heart of Stony Stratford, the team at Whitespace Yoga & Wellbeing Studio are avid believers that when we feel good, our lives improve. That’s why over the last nine years, the team have been dedicated to helping Milton Keynes put wellbeing back on the priority list through the practices of yoga, pilates and mindfulness meditation.
Now entering their tenth year in business, and having already helped over 10,000 people discover the benefits of a wellbeing practice through classes, workshops and corporate sessions, Whitespace Studio continues to be a community committed to making a difference as Milton Keynes’ number one wellbeing provider.
“Whitespace was founded to create a safe, friendly and distraction-free environment for physical and mental health,” says Yoga Teacher and Studio Director Deborah Berryman. “We’re here to be more than a studio that provides classes. We’re a community that supports and encourages each other to live life well!
“Yoga is a practical tool for every body, which is easy to incorporate into everyday life and can be the catalyst to building a stable and healthy lifestyle. That’s why, at our studio, you’ll find people of all ages and abilities – men, women, young and old, from athletes to couch surfers – looking to improve their wellbeing through a regular practice.”
To kick-off a year of celebrations, the studio has unveiled its recent reception refurbishment, creating a warm and welcoming space for those starting on their wellbeing journey. Students are often chatting with the studio’s Wellbeing Advisors and getting support on their goals, or simply taking a break from the everyday distractions outside the studio doors. More celebrations are planned for later in the year when the studio celebrates its ten-year anniversary in October.
If you’ve never tried yoga before – just give it a go! It doesn’t matter about your shape, fitness level or age – complete beginners are more than welcome – it’s just about turning up on your mat and letting the practice work its magic.
